Dear Hunter,
We had a good
year of hunting and fishing in 2007 and we look forward to
an even better 2008 season.
Red Bear
Guides will be at three Sportsmen's Shows this year.
If you are in the neighborhood, please stop by and see us.
Albuquerque, February 7,8,9; Phoenix, March, 7,8,9; and Salt
Lake City, March 13,14,15,16.
We are
offering the following hunts for the 2008 season.
Interior
Grizzly near Beluga, April 1-May 25 and Aug 15 - Oct 30
Spring grizzly is done by drop-off super cub or snow-machine
and consists of a fair amount of walking. This hunt is
rated as high adventure with a reward that can't be
beat, a quality spring bear hide. Fall grizzly is best
done the first of September while the berries are still
plentiful or after September 20th after the moose season has
ended and salmon are still in the rivers.
Alaska
Yukon Moose near Iliamna/Aniak September 5-20 Our
moose camps are on the upper Nushagak River, accessible by
float-plane and jet boats. Hunting is done by jet boat
which will take you to and from your daily hunting grounds
with mild to little walking involved. Besides moose,
other animals taken right along the river's edge include
caribou, black bear, wolf, and wolverine. Moose
average 56" while larger moose reach 60-70". Along
with our first rate moose camps, we can tie in a trophy
fishing trip. Caught on a daily basis are Sockeye/Red
and Coho/Silver, Rainbows up to 12 pounds, Grayling,
Dollies, and Pike.
Mulchatna
Caribou, Contact us for more details and dates Caribou hunting
is either done off the Nushagak River by jet boat or by
flying into the hills by super cub. Each area puts you
in the migrating path of the Mulchatna herds. Large
herds can be seen at any given time along with black bears,
grizzly, wolf and wolverine.
Red Bear Guides invites
you to come and hunt the wilds of Alaska in 2008.
Whether it be hunting or fishing, it will be an adventure of
